We are pleased to announce that Lucy, pictured right, has recently become the 250th 
WorkFit placement since 2012. She has started a 12 week work experience placement as an Administrative Assistant at the Thornton NHS Practice in Lancashire. Lucy has a range of duties, including opening and sorting mail and managing and ordering stationery and we wish her all the best for her placement.
Lucy’s mother Beverley is very proud of her daughter’s achievement coming soon after Lucy’s recent move to independent living. When we told her about the special significance of Lucy’s placement she was delighted “What an achievement for WorkFit! Well done to all involved who help people like Lucy with Down’s syndrome get into the workplace and make them feel they are doing something worthwhile in their lives”
