In November, we attended the BASE Awards 2024, celebrating and recognising excellence in supported employment, with a standout moment being Severn Trent winning the Large Employer Award.
The award was presented to Josie, Ian, and Ed, a Severn Trent Ranger, who proudly represented the company on stage. The evening was filled with inspiring stories of inclusion and success, with special thanks to all attendees, including H&M, for making the event a night to remember. Congratulations to all the winners and participants!
Also in November, our WorkFit Officer, Molly, attended a Lunch & Learn session at Savills to raise awareness of the WorkFit programme and to celebrate Thomas, a WorkFit candidate thriving in his role at The Trafford Centre. A big thank you to Sara Gough for her fantastic leadership in this partnership!
We’re excited to share that the Craft Guild of Chefs Awards Evening, attended by HRH, the Duchess of Edinburgh, raised an amazing £3,900 for the DSA. A big thank you to The Craft Guild of Chefs and Mark Reynolds, Head Chef at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, for their support. The evening celebrated the achievements of talented chefs and highlighted the importance of giving back to the community.

While at work, Ellis had an unforgettable moment when he met his favourite Leeds United player, Daniel James. He couldn’t believe his luck when the star winger walked in and even managed to snap a photo to capture the special occasion.
Thank you to all of our employers for their continued support of our WorkFit programme, and good luck to everyone starting new roles this month.
